Quasi Robotics Limited Product Warranty Overview

Quasi Robotics offers a robust Limited Product Warranty to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability. Below is a summary of the warranty's key points, designed to help you understand the coverage and procedures.


Warranty Coverage

The Limited Product Warranty applies to all autonomous mobile robots sold by Quasi Robotics under the following terms:

  • Warranty Period:

    • 12 months from the date of installation at the customer’s premises.
    • 15 months from the date of shipment by Quasi Robotics, whichever occurs first.
  • Products Covered:

    • Only autonomous mobile robots sold directly by Quasi Robotics, excluding items covered under a separate warranty.
  • Exclusions:

    • Labor costs, installation, or replacement expenses are not covered.
    • Damage from misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or abnormal environmental conditions is excluded.

Key Conditions

For the warranty to remain valid:

  1. Products must be installed in compliance with local laws, Quasi’s installation guidelines, and industry best practices.
  2. Serial numbers must remain intact and unaltered.
  3. Preventative maintenance, including cleaning and proper use, is required.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused during shipment.
  • Failures due to third-party components or systems.
  • Routine maintenance items, such as fuse replacements or cleaning.
  • Damage from power surges or force majeure events (e.g., lightning).

Repair and Replacement

During the warranty period, defective products will be repaired or replaced at Quasi’s discretion:

  • Procedure:

    • Customers must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before shipping defective products to Quasi Robotics.
    • Shipping costs to Quasi are borne by the customer, while return shipping is covered by Quasi.
  • Replacements:

    • Defective items replaced by Quasi Robotics become the property of Quasi.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  1. Proper maintenance of the product as per the user guide.
  2. Covering labor and additional costs for on-site repairs or installations.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  1. Customers must first contact Quasi Robotics through email, phone, or mail.
  2. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration in Frederick, Maryland, under Judicial Mediation and Arbitration Services (JAMS).

Opt-Out Option

Customers may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days of purchase by submitting written notice to Quasi Robotics.

This warranty grants specific legal rights to customers, which may vary based on jurisdiction. Some exclusions or limitations outlined in the warranty may not apply in certain states.
